Transcription Executive job in Kenya

Location: Nairobi
Department: ProductionDescription:

To convert speech (either live or recorded) into a written or electronic text document.

Job Requirements:

  • Listen to given material and convert into text.
  • Basic online research of terms.
  • Distinguish between major world accents.
  • Categorize assignments as they come in.
  • Report to QA and Team Lead.
  • Maintain and surpass performance metrics.

Key Requirements:

  • A KCSE certificate.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills ( both Written and Verbal)
  • Very Detail Orientated
  • Very Organized
  • Typing Skills (minimum typing speed of 30 WPM.)
  • Previous experience at a contact center preferred but not required.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision/autonomously
  • Self Starter
  • Have strong initiative and ability to think outside the box
