Retail Sales Manager
Our client is a Global, Leading Manufacturer, Retailer and Distributor of FMCG. They seek to recruit a Retail Sales and Marketing Manager who will head the retail operations functions and to some extent marketing.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
- Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
- Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales.
- Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning.
- Using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning.
- Organising special promotions, displays and events.
- Touring sales floors regularly to resolve issues and execute sales strategies.
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understand and monitoring what local competitors are doing.
- Initiating changes to ensure the stores compete effectively in the local market.
Qualification:
- Must have a bachelor in marketing or business related degree from a recognized and reputable university.
- Must have 7 – 10 years working experience in a senior management position in retail FMCG background.
- Must have FMCG experience in retail and distribution networks and outlets is a prerequisite.
- Must be analytical, innovative and strategic thinker.
- Strong drive for results and achievements.
- Strong execution abilities
- Good trainer and team leader.

- Nose for fashion trends and markets.
- Self-motivated individual & self-drive.
- A mature personality between the age of 30 to 40 years of age.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh.150,000 – 200,000/= (Approx. 1,760 – 2,352 USD)depending on experience
