Serena Hotels Chief Engineers Job in Kenya

We are currently seeking two qualified individuals to join our Senior Engineering team at our City Centre Hotels in East Africa.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following key result areas
  • Co-ordinate and control functions of a fully-fledged maintenance department dealing with all engineering aspects
  • Formulate annual Operating and Capital expenditure budgets and ensure budgetary control
  • Scheduling and supervising preventative maintenance service for all equipment under scope.
  • In liaison with the purchasing department, ensuring the best quality R&M items are purchased at the most competitive prices.
  • Effectively manage a team of 15-20 staff members of different discipline
  • Manage small to medium scale building and maintenance projects involving external contractors and suppliers

Knowledge, Skills & Experience required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Aged between 30- 45 Years.
  • Should possess Computer Skills.
  • Have strong knowledge in electro mechanics, refrigeration works and civil engineering works.
  • Minimum of 5 Years work experience in a similar position is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills
The remuneration package for the position will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualification and experience.
